Writing Effective Product Development Requirements

As a provider of engineering solutions on a contract basis, we understand the importance of having a well-defined vision for new product development and its impact on the success of individual projects. Similarly, internal product development efforts (sans outsourcing) must also apply a good set of practices surrounding the development of product requirements. This paper describes the Syncroness method for writing good product requirements as well as how to capture, document, track and manage them throughout the project lifecycle. Using real project inputs and outputs, we explore both good and bad examples of product requirements.
