To accomplish the design objective, Syncroness assembled a multidisciplinary team including program management, systems, electrical, mechanical, and software engineering, supported by procurement, assembly, verification testing, and installation resources.
A top-down, systems-oriented approach was key for identifying the design features and integrating the subsystems. This process started with systems engineers defining and distributing the requirements to the responsible engineers. Discipline leads then derived requirements for each subsystem that would help achieve the overall system goals.
