The mass of a system is built-in very early in a development project. M³ provides the information necessary to evaluate design decisions related to weight in the earliest stages of development.  Since weight is closely related to cost, M³ provides a strong cost reduction effect as well.
Using existing PLM-systems, usb’s weight management offers significant functionality for the prediction, monitoring and control of weight during the entire development process.
